Name: Makenna Delwood (friends call her Enna)
Where he/she lives:
A room above her work, in Corus
Place of Birth: Corus
Age, Date of Birth:
24, December 14
Occupation: Laundress
Status: Peasant
Magic:
None
Family: Her mother, Kathreen, raised her and her sister in their room above the bakery where
her mother worked. Makenna never knew her father. Her sister, Denise, 20, has a different father than Makenna and still lives
with their mother and is an appentice baker. She regularly visits Makenna when her mother becomes too much for her. Denise
is saving up enough money to open up her own shop near Makenna. The two are very close.
Appearance: Stands about 5'4". Has a small built body, with honey-colored eyes. Has a
slightly crooked nose (broke it once). Has chesnut brown long dark wavy hair that she keeps in a braid when she's working,
but otherwise wears it down.
Clothing: Neutral colored skirts (light and dark browns, black, tan)
and a white blouse. Sturdy boots, and some hidden blades are somewhere in the mix, but she usually prefers stomach and arm
sheaths to leg sheaths. You never know, though, she could surprise you.
Personality: Makenna is spontaneous,
you never know what she's going to do next, and rarely confides anything in any body. She keeps her personal life to herself,
yet is an impossible flirt. She appears stubborn, but in fact will rarely fight for her opinion, unless it really counts.
You will find that the weirdest things are what really matters to her. She will voice her opinions, but almost never argues.
She feels that she always has to be a strong figure for her sister, and doesn't ever talk about her mother. She can use a
blade, but won't talk or boast about it. She doesn't know anything about any other form of defense, though, so take her blades
away, and she's defenseless.
History: She moved out of her mother's house as soon as she had
earned enough money by sweeping up the shop. She wants to move out of Corus, but is waiting for something to show her not
to go. Her fatherless state was a constant annoyance for her growing up, and is still a touchy subject for her today. She
often had to go out on the streets when she was small, and earn some extra money for her little sister to be able to eat that
day. She is still protective of her sister, and is almost like a mother at some points, because their mother was never there.
What is your character most ashamed of?: That her and her sister were basically on the streets at
one point. She feels ashamed that people, when they find out about that, say, "Well, dont' you have a mother?" They don't
know that her mother was never around.
What makes your character unique?: That she has the broken
nose. It gives her a little mystery, as in, why did she get in a fight if she doesn't argue that much. Its one of those things
that she will never talk about.
